What is Counselling?
Once you call Gambling Support Services, you may schedule an initial one-on-one appointment with a counselor who is trained to understand gambling problems. It is a safe and private place for you to learn more about your concerns. During this initial appointment (assessment), you and your counsellor will come up with a plan as to what will be most helpful for you. You are welcome to bring along a family member if you like.
There is no shame in getting help. It is finding the right information that helps you make the best decisions for change.
